Editing Tab Container (Tabs Names)

Tabs are located in the tab container module. This module is in position TOP1. Code of this module is straightforward HTML. It's recommended to switch your WYSIWYG editor to textual mode before editing this module.

HTML view of the tab container module contains tab names. You can edit the tab names here. After that, it contains "calls" for the tabs' content. In this sample, we have 3 tabs. Therefore, we have 3 tab modules (in positions TAB1, TAB2 and TAB3).

<div id="tabs">
    <ul>
        <li><a href="#tabs-1">Hot on Gaming Zone</a></li>
        <li><a href="#tabs-2">Games for Mobiles</a></li>
        <li><a href="#tabs-3">Latest Reviews</a></li>
    </ul>
    <div id="tabs-1">
        {*loadposition tab1}
    </div>
    <div id="tabs-2">
        {*loadposition tab2}
    </div>
    <div id="tabs-3">
        {*loadposition tab3}
    </div>
</div>

In the above code, the asterisks (*) before loadposition plugin is added to prevent loading of the modules in this page. The asterisk should be removed in live site.

Editing Tabs Content

As we mentioned, the tabs are actually modules in positions TAB1, TAB2 and TAB3. To alter the tabs' content, you should alter the modules in those module positions as you usually edit modules. By default, this template shows K2 Content modules in the tabs. Also, we prepared some similarly styled modules using Articles - Newsflash (core Joomla module). If you prefer to run site without K2 component, you can disable K2 Content module and enable Articles - Newsflash module in the tabs' module positions.
